The idea and motivation for the foundation of TriDiVisions surged in 2006, by joining three men and their will and spirit for entrepreneurism: Suat Aycɩl, Firmino Faria and Jürgen Bund.
The idea surged rather unspectacular. Suat and Firmino contributed with their long-term experience in the Real Estate (RE) Market and the observation that this market is still much privy of modern Information and Communication Technology, namely what concerns mobile solutions. Jürgen, with his rich knowledge and expertise in the field of ICT, Mobility and R&TD contributed with technological concepts that would respond to the needs expressed by his partners – the basic cornerstones for TriDiVisions had been laid out.
During the following weeks and months, the three discussed and detailed the business idea and the underlying concept for the ARESS product line that the company is currently developing. Based on the product concept, a first informal market survey was done. Suat provided support concerning the conduction of a first market analysis and market survey in the German market. This survey confirmed the interest and feasibility of the ARESS product line. Consequently, the threefold decided to jointly invest into this business opportunity.
In 2006 they addressed the NEOTEC program, promoted by AdI – Agência de Inovação in Portugal, a programme for the support of the incubation of Technology based new startup companies. In January 2007 the project was approved and started to be executed. Until August 2007 the company’s Business Plan was set up, based on the preparatory work that has been carried out beforehand. The Business Plan was submitted to AdI the same month and accepted shortly after.
Finally, TriDiVisions was founded in February 2008, with headquarters in Coimbra, Portugal.
